Snow!
We woke up to some snow this morning. The girls were so excited and went outside before they had coats and shoes on and wanted to go play. We only got to play for a few minutes because Bethany had preschool this morning. But they enjoyed it while it last. It is about noon, and most of it is gone now.
Horsey Rides
Last night the kids got horsey rides on daddy's back. They loved it. I even got on, it was pretty fun. I can see why they like it:)
Rylan was so funny. He would crawl around with him, and go underneath him. I think he thought he was playing. Rylan got his turn on daddy's back to, and he couldn't stop smiling! I didn't mean to cut Bethany out of the picture, so here is one of her getting ready for her ballet class on Saturday. I couldn't believe how excited she was. She couldn't stop talking the whole way there! She was also pretty concerned about missing her class this Saturday, since we will be in Utah. She got upset and didn't want to go to Utah, because of her class. But after I talked to her teacher and told her we would be gone, and the teacher said that was fine, she came to terms with it and is now excited to go to Utah. She knows she will get to go to a lot more classes when we get back. Funny kids!

Through the eyes of a child
Bethany said something so cute last week, a little background to our conversation. Bethany and Hannah are going to be the flower girls at my mom's wedding. So I have been talking to them about being a flower girl and that they will walk down the aisle and put flowers on the ground, but never mentioned what they would be wearing. So about a week later I started looking for flower girl dresses for them. I told the girls that were going to get to wear a red dress at the wedding. Bethany looks at me kind of confused and said, "but I don't want to wear a dress over my costume." I tried my hardest to keep a straight face, and then explained to her why she would not be wearing a flower costume at Da's wedding.
Afterwards I was thinking about it, and why wouldn't she think she was going to wear a costume. That is all she knows in her short life. For halloween, you pick what you are going to be and you dress up as it. So anyways, I thought it was pretty cute of her!!! And she is fine wearing a dress instead of a flower costume!!

Hannah's Potty Party!
Now that Hannah is fully potty trained, we threw her a party!! Since my last post, she has contined to poop on the potty, YEA!!! She was already peeing on the potty like a pro, and staying dry all night, so this was her last step! It is so funny how they will do things when they are ready. I tried pushing her to go poop, since I knew she could, but she was not having it! It wasn't until I backed off, put her in pullups and acted like it was no big deal if she pooped in her pullup, took away the stress, that she wanted to give it a try. Things are so much clearing in the past! Anyways, here are some pictures of Hannah at the party!! Way to go Hannah, we're proud of you!!! And hopefully there won't be too many more post of my children's potty habits!
Hannah with her big girl award!
Backyard fun!
Yesterday it was actually warm enough to go out in our backyard and play! We love having a place for the kids to go play, and get some fresh air. Here are some pictures!

Hannah drawing "H's". She learned how to draw a H in joyschool, and we haven't gotten her to stop. She loves being able to draw a letter like Bethany can. She will draw a bunch of H's and then say "look I drawed my name." I tried to teach her a A, but so far she can only do a upside down A. Next we'll have to work on a N. At least she only has 3 letter's to learn for her name!!

Little Ballerina's!
Bethany has been wanting to do ballet for awhile and we finally found a ballet class that we like!! I have spent the last couple weeks searching for a ballet class for Bethany and Hannah. This became a bigger challenge than I thought it would be, for whatever reason it was just not working. We found a class that we really like, but you have to be 4 to be in the class. So what we decided to do, is put Bethany in the class, and then once a week we will have a ballet class at home for Hannah, where Bethany will teach Hannah what she learned at ballet that week. Plus, Bethany will get her practicing in. After talking to the ballet teacher, it sounds like before they are 4 they really don't get a lot out of being in a class anyways. They are still a little too young to really understand what they are doing and putting it all together. Yesterday we went and bought them both new leotards, ballet shoes and tap shoes. The class we are doing teaches both ballet and tap, the girls love the tap shoes and the noise they make! The girls are SO excited for ballet, and they keep asking me if it's the day for their classes. I think they are going to have fun!!

The girls doing some dancing.
Rylan
Rylan has started to use his walking toy more, and he loves it! Sooner than I am ready he will be walking by himself. I still can't believe he is getting all grown up on me! He also started saying dada and mama. He said dada first, but only by a couple hours. He learned them on the same day. It is fun seeing him learn how to communicate with us. He also knows how to "give 5". I hold my hand out and say "give me 5" and he will put his little hand on mine. It is so cute.
Rylan likes to tease his sisters, and Hannah can't resist teasing her either!

Just some Pictures
Dresses, Bathrooms, Doctors, and Swimming Pools
Nothing too interesting has been happening lately. We are finally adjusting to being home, and everyone is almost done with the sickness. I still only have half of my voice and coughing, but much better than last week. Everyone else is healthly and hopefully it stays that way!!! These are some pictures of the girl on Sunday, in their dresses their Grandpa got them for christmas. They wore them with their new pink boots, thanks to Grandpa also!! We now have church at 9:00, and I can't believe the difference in the kids. They were so good during sacrament meeting, I think this will be a good change for them!! They are dancing for their pictures, whatever works right!

Little Rylan being a happy boy!
One big accomplishment this week, is Hannah FINALLY decided that it's not so bad pooping on the potty! Sunday night, she told me she needed to go poop poo, and I thought she had already gone, since that is usually how it works! But she hadn't and we went in and she went! I could not believe myself. She has done it a couple times since. So hopefully this is a start of something good, although I'm sure we will still have some accidents and that's ok!! This is a picture of Hannah with her purple licorce, Aka: poop poo treat! Bethany is happy because she gets a treat also, when Hannah does! Hannah has been doing so good with going pee, and has been for awhile. I have her in pull ups due to the poop accidents, which has been a good stress reliver for me and her also I am sure!! But she has gotten to wear some of her new underwear this week! Hopefully she keeps it up!!!
Another picture of Rylan. Rylan went back to see his urologist this week. For those who don't know, he had a complication with his circumsision, where they ended up taking off all of his foreskin off, instead of just the tip. He had to have an emergency surgery when he wasn't even 24 hours old. The most stressful part was they had to put him under to do it, and that made me pretty nervous. They did a skin graft and sewed his forskin back on. Thankfully it all turned out ok. This was his last appointment with her, and it's been a few months since he has seen his plastic surgeon. They are both surprised at how well it has healed and are happy with how it is growing with him! So no more doctors. I am so thankful that these two doctors taht were available that night and that they figured out how to fix the problem. It was something that none of the doctors had seen before, so no one really knew what to do! It could of ended up a lot worse! But he's as good as new!
Another adventure we had this last week, on Friday night I wanted to take the kids to go swimming. There's this cool pool near our house that has a HUGE kiddie pool and the girls just love it! Also on Fridays, it is only .50 to swim. So we were going to go swimming and then to Dions (a pizza place) for dinner afterwards. We were all pretty excited about it. Well we got to the swimming pool and it was going to open a 1/2 hour late. So we decided to go get dinner first. But to go to Dions and then swimming, we wouldn't be home till way past the kids bedtime, and sometimes it is just not worth it! So we decided to go to McDonalds, and eat in the car on the way back to the swimming pool. Good plan right!! Well we eat our dinner, and get back to the swimming pool. We go to pay, and there is a sign saying that the little swimming pool is closed. Well that was the whole reason for going swimming and didn't really want to deal with 3 little kids in the big pool. So we decided to just go home, and try again next week. The girls were pretty bummed, so we talked them into going swimming in mommy and daddy's "swimming pool". Hannah was funny and thought we were talking about their pink swimming pool that goes outside, and she was all ready for us to fill it up outside in 30 degree weather! So they ended up swimming in our tub again, and they had a good time after all, plus they got bubbles!!!

Our Trip
We had a good trip to Washington, but are SO glad to be home! It is hard to be away from your home for 1 1/2 weeks, with 3 little kids. They too were so ready to be home! They are having so much fun playing with all their toys, we have a hard time getting them to stop long enough to eat! We really enjoyed our visit with my dad and his family. Thank you so much for everything!!! We also enjoyed visiting my Grandma and Grandpa. One major disappointment, was we ALL got sick!! It started Friday, 2 days into our trip, Bethany wakes up with a fever. She ended up having croup again. Hannah got it a couple days later. Not as bad as Bethany, but she had the fevers. Me, Kyle and Rylan got sick with colds, but really bad colds! I had 3 days of waking up with fevers, and lots of coughing! Me and Rylan got the tail end of it, because we are still sick, but hopefully will get better soon! At least were home now. So we had to drag the kids around on the trip, all they wanted to do was stay home, but we had a time limit and had things we wanted to do!! They survived right!!
We rode the ferry boat over to Seattle, and went to the Seattle Aquarium and to Ivars for lunch. We were going to walk over on the ferry, but with us all sick, we ended up driving, so we didn't have to be out in the cold air so much.
Us waiting for my dad at Ivar's, he was trying to find a parking spot, downtown Seattle!
My grandma and grandpa came over for dinner the night before we left. It was good to see them! We went over to their house one day, and Hannah helped her decorate her house with snowmen, and made cookies with her. Then she made us her yummy roast for us for dinner!!! The original plan was to have both girls go spend the day with them, but again, because they were sick, it got changed. Bethany was suppose to help them also, but was too busy sleeping or whining!!
The girls with my Grandpa!
We went to the Silverdale waterfront park. It is pretty fun, they have toys to play on. Then they have stairs going down to the beach, and a big long dock you can walk out on. It is just across the street from my Dad's office. The girls had fun finding sea shells!

On our way home from the Children's Museum we went to the rainforest cafe. It was fun!

Us at the airport. Our flight was delayed an hour, due to snow in Salt Lake and Boise. We found this awesome play area for the kids though!! They had so much fun playing, and it got them tired our for the flight. Rylan had a lot of fun too!! This was a tunnel he crawled through, he loved it!
We also got to visit with some of my friends, Janene, Telly and Allison. It was fun to see them and their cute kids! How did we all get so grown up so fast?
I took way too many pictures to post on here. They are a lot easier to put on facebook, so here is a link to the rest of the pictures!
