We went to the state fair last week. We had so much fun! The kids dressed as farmers doing the McDonald farm. You get to go around and collect things and at the end they give you an ice cream.

... the chain broke. Exactly why I don't like the rides at a fair. If you can pack it up and put in on a truck then it just doesn't seem very safe to me!!!

We had a good time walking around and seeing the animals. We got a little downpour in the middle which made it fun too. Until next year!!

p260 week 35

September 4th to 10thBethany got this puzzle for her birthday. You upload a photo on the computer and using their software it arranges the pieces to look somewhat like the picture. It is fun being able to do so many different puzzles with the same pieces.

I put Bryleigh down on the floor for a minute and she feel asleep. I guess she was tired and I was missing her ques!

On Labor Day we had a campfire with our firepit, roasted hotdogs and swam in our pool. It was so fun to just be together! The kids love goggles. Some of their friends had some that they used and now think they need some. So of course they got some! Dallen can't be left out!!

Rylan had his first day of speech. He loves going and has a lot of fun. Dallen isen't quite sure what to do when he is gone. He will ask where he is and always gives him a big "Hi Rylan" when we pick him up.

Hannah had her half birthday on the 4th. It was on a Sunday and pretty low key. She got to open her presents after church and then we had a cinnamon roll cake. The kids all liked it! Hannah is such a sweet, awesome girl! She is such a good big sister and a little sister. Dallen just loves her. If I can't help him then it's Hannah that has too. He will also ask where she over and over again when she is at school.

She loves to sing and dance, put on plays, play pretend games, ride her bike, read books, go on dates with us, and playing with her friends.

Her favorite friends are Bethany, Rylan, Dallen, Bryleigh, Skyler, Chloe and Catherine.

Her favorite food is puffy pancakes, pigs in a blanket and cheesy macaroni.

It is so fun watching her grow up and to see more and more of her personality come out! She really is very cool!!

3 months {a little late}

Bryleigh is now 3 months old. It's the first time that I have felt like, "you are already 3 months old?" I guess time is speeding up a little! She is so much fun! She smiles all the time, and has started to laugh, which I love! She found her finger's last month and now she has found her feet and likes to play with them. She enjoys playing on the floor and moving around. She weighs around 11.5 pounds.

She had gotten a cold and along with it came a fever. She was super cranky for a week, up a lot during the night and got out of the little bit of routine we had established. Then it seems to have taken another week to get her back into a somewhat routine, but she is back to sleeping till morning and being happy so I'm happy! I don't like it when my kids are sick!

She has lots of nicknames around the house.

Dallen calls her baby

I sometimes call her Bry

and Ky just calls her Bryleigh

I would say that Rylan is probably her favorite so far {besides me of course :) } He also takes the most time to talk and play with her. Dallen is taking more of an interest in her, which is fun to watch. The girls love her too and enjoy helping me with her.

Things are feeling so much more normal and I feel like we are settling in to our new routine with Bryleigh. It's crazy how hectic life can get having a new baby and the whole adjustment for everyone. The first few weeks I am always nervous to go anywhere, because I am still 'learning' about this little baby and really have no idea what to do for them, since they are all so different. It's such a learning process and I feel like I know Bryleigh so well now, and I usually know what she needs! And it's so weird to think that I didn't know her a few months ago.

p260 week 34

August 28th to September 3rd

We finally convinced {forced} Dallen to move into Rylan's room. But he did not want his bed on the bunk bed, but on the floor. That is where it was in his room. So we are taking baby steps! But they are doing great together and I stressed over it for way too long for nothing! Hopefully soon we can convince {or force again if needed} to move his bed onto the bunk bed! But for now it works!
Which means Bryleigh finally has a room of her own! She has been sleeping in there like a champ! I went through a little bit of separation anxiety at first and was sad when she wasn't in our room. But overall I am glad that she is doing well in her room and we have our room back and not cluttered with baby stuff everywhere!

This last week she got sick. She had a fever for 3 days and was super fussy for a couple days. I think it was just a cold that her body didn't handle well. She was not happy! I'm glad it all passed and she is healthy and happy again!

We have a apple tree in our backyard that produced a ton of apples this year. We were able to make some applesauce and also some apple pie filling with it. It was so fun and yummy!

Hannah finally has a loose tooth. Both of her bottom ones are loose and one is kind of hanging funny. She is excited about it and is anxious to loose some teeth! We are just waiting now!

p260 week 33

Headed home from Utah. It is a long 10 hours of movies and books on tape, but we have awesome travelers!

Bethany got her ear's pierced for her birthday. {they have to be 8} I made her wait until after our trip, in case she had issues with them. She was so excited and nervous. She got to hold blackie the bear during it. She did say it hurt when the needle went through, but she did great. Hannah is having second thoughts on getting hers pierced when she is 8. Maybe she shouldn't of watched! :)

After the ear piercing, the kids wanted to go on a escalator ride. So they did!

rest of utah

After our big day on Saturday we had 1 more day to spend in Utah. Long trip I know! It went by way too fast.

We spent a couple hours with Ky's mom. The kids always love going to her house and playing with her toys. We love getting to visit with her!

Then we spent a couple hours with my dad at Temple Square. It sure is fun being with him!

The kids kept calling the Salt Lake City temple, our temple! I loved it! It is our temple and always will be!! That is where our family became forever!

The kids had to play in every fountain or pool of water. And they are everywhere on temple square!

Then we ended our day with a couple hours with my mom. We had dinner at her house, and then the kids went and played at the park next to her house. That is one of their favorites about her house. It's right up there with the cat chubby, she found a hiding spot real fast! We enjoyed visiting with them!

It was a crazy, busy weekend! We really enjoyed spending time with everyone. Now if we could all move closer together so we could see you guys all the time!!! That would be awesome!
