Hannah and Jerrod had so much fun playing with the little people toys.  It was cute watching them play with them.  A lot of times you will see the older kids playing with them with the little ones, but they were having a good time all by themselves!

The kids playing with their cousin Katie, they were sliding down the little hill at their grandma's house on a cardboard box.  They did that over and over for about an hour!

I decided that me and the little ones needed to do something different and fun, so we went to Chili's for lunch per Dallen's request.  We had fun dining out, with just us. They make a good date!

On preschool days that Dallen goes to Connor's house I have fun pretending that I only have one kid again. It is so much easier with just the one.  She wanted to ride the dumbo ride when we were leaving toys r us.  My first reaction was no, (there's too many of you), then remembered that it was only her, and was like sure you can ride it!  She loved it!

Bethany played basketball again, and she got 2 tickets to the Utah Jazz game. Kyle went with her again, and they had a lot of fun!

Dallen upgraded from the car shopping cart when he discovered the little carts at smiths.  He now loves to push that around behind me, and I make sure he doesn't run into my heels!  He loves filling up his little basket and gets made when I put something in my basket instead. 

Bryleigh is so funny.  She put her fingers in her bow on her shoe and said, "look mommy, take a picture." So I obeyed and took a picture! 

We ventured down to station park to explore and had to get a picture in front of the santa house.  They had a park there, an ice skating rink, and lots of fun stores.  The old navy in Layton closed, and moved here.  I was so sad!!  It was in the same parking lot as my target, so it made it so easy to do my shopping.  

A fun snowy day.  I think this was the first time they actually got bundled up and played in the snow. 

Poor Dallen was sick on the couch and was bummed he didn't get to go play!

Hannah made the fun turkey and pilgrim hat at activity days. And the fun christmas tree at my mom's at thanksgiving.

Rylan had a date with daddy at home, and they built a lego tower that reached the ceiling! They had fun hanging out!

Hannah's home date with me while Bethany was at the jazz game with Ky.  We played ticket to ride, we had a lot of fun hanging out too.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we got our Christmas tree set up and our house decorated for Christmas.  I can't believe it is that time of year again already! 

Rylan got the honors of putting the star on the tree this year. 

They have so much fun getting all their ornaments out and on the tree.

That night we headed up to Ogden to see the elf houses and lights.  We didn't realize it was opening night of it, and it was crazy busy! We stayed long enough to see the fireworks and then we headed home.  We decided to go back another night when their wasn't so many people there. 

They loved the fireworks! We don't get to see them very often!

thanksgiving

We had a fun Thanksgiving this year at my moms house with my sister's family and my brother.  It was fun to all be together for the holiday. It's been a long time.

The present game.  You roll two dice and if you get doubles you hurry and put on the gloves, scarves and hat then you try to unwrap the present which has layers and layers on it! It was fun.

We decorated a gingerbread house.  Halfway through the roof decided to collapse.  So each pair of kids got to decorate their sides.

They also got to make christmas trees.  Halfway through this the table got pushed over and everything feel off. We were having a good day with our projects!

It was a fun filled day!

Treehouse museum

We had been looking for a fun museum to take the kids too.  In Albuquerque we had our annual pass to the zoo, aquarium and botanical gardens, then we would buy a pass to either explora or the dinosaur museum.  So we have been lacking on fun things to go do.  We decided to try the treehouse museum in Ogden, we had heard good things about it.  We all loved it!  We had so much fun exploring and playing!

We had so much fun and decided to buy an annual pass so we can go lots and lots!

The museum is across the street from the Ogden temple that is being rebuilt.  It is so pretty!  We are excited to get to take the kids through another temple open house.  It is such an amazing experience!

Then we went to the park down the street and had lunch at the park.  

The kids kept telling us it was the best day ever!  I think they needed a fun family day maybe even more than I did!
