December 2013
It's been a great year, full of some fun, great memories!!
Thanks for being a good year for us!

p12 December

Enjoying the "only kid" perk again.
Kyle and I went to Forgotten Carols.  I used to go with my family growing up and we went when we were first married, but it's been a long time.  It was nice to have a night out and as always was a great show!
My mom was able to get tickets to see the Christmas program put on at the Conference center, so we had a fun girls night out.  It was a great production and a great night with my favorite ladies!
The kids love to shovel snow!  Our driveway is about twice the size of our last driveway and is a super pain to shovel.  So we welcome any help!
A horrible picture on the right, but it's proof and the only proof I have that we went and saw frozen at the theater.  I fought it and was going to wait until it went to the dollar movie, I hate spending $40 on a movie.  But after all the great reviews we caved, and of course it was awesome and we all love it!  We have been listening to the music and watching the music videos on youtube since.  The movie is almost here, two week!
The girls were happy that I was able to help out with their Christmas class parties.  They enjoy it when I visit them at school, and I love that they want me there!

After the parties waiting for the other kids!
That wraps up another month! Yay!

new years eve

We had a fun new years eve.  We went to the Pie for dinner and had some yummy dinner!
Then we went and explored the Willard Bay lights.  My dad had seen them driving in from Seattle, so we decided to see what they were all about.  We first drove through the lights, and then they have a horse driven wagon that takes you through the lights.  It was kind of cold but we got all bundled up.

My favorite one was cinderella and her carriage.
Then we got home and had some hot coco and some yummy snacks and watched some of the new years eve show. It was a good day!

museum and temple square lights

We were so excited the weekend after Christmas to have my dad come and visit with us for a week.  We love having him visit and we don't get to see him enough! We did lots of fun things while he was here!

We went to the treehouse children's musuem in Ogden with my dad and Adam and the kids.
The kids enjoyed exploring and playing!

This is Bryleigh's favorite thing to do at the museum.  Play with the kitchen.
We went to Temple Square to see the lights.  We also walked around the city creek mall and went to the disney store.  Dallen wanted a picture on the rock.

We walked by the old ZCMI windows to see the candy windows.  The displays are all made of candy!
We explored the south visitor center.

Had dinner and then enjoyed the beautiful lights!
It was a fun night and we were glad made it down there before they took the lights down.

christmas day

We had a fun Christmas.  We always start out with opening our stocking on our bed.  We really need to upgrade to a king size bed, we have too many bodies to sit on our bed! I think stockings are my favorite part of Christmas!  It always has been.
Dallen got another smurf doll, and so now he has twin smurfee's.  They are 4 like Dallen. He loves them and carries them around everywhere!

Waiting to go down the stairs, wait we don't have stairs.  This didn't even occur to me until at that very moment! Kind of funny.  We get to line up in the hallway now instead of on the stairs.
The kids were so excited to see all their presents that santa brought!

Bryleigh loves doc mcstuffins, and was really wanting this doll.
Rylan with his legos!
Hannah with her fashion design portfolio.  She wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up!
So excited for her dress up clothes!
Dallen's superhero imaginex toys!
Bethany asked for a bunch of art supplies, she was so excited!
The kids all got the infinity as a combine present from santa.
We dragged our presents out all morning.  We opened the santa presents and then took a break and played with their toys.  Then we did the presents from us. And then ate breakfast.  Then we finished up with some more combine gifts.  It was fun to make it last longer.
The boys with their boy toys!
Hannah was  so excited for a baby alive doll!  She carried it around for a week straight!
Bethany and her bow and arrow, she was so excited!
Opening up the last few combined presents.
We had a great day spending time together.  We went to my mom's later for dinner and had a good time relaxing and having fun!
