p260 week 20

Hannah at her end of year school play, the three little elephants. She was so excited and had so much fun and did a great job!!

We met daddy at the park after he finished running a race. The boys had fun playing!

The girls had their last day of school on the 26th. They both spent the day at the park. Now we have a 1st grader and a 3rd grader, crazy! We are all excited for summer!

Dallen in his new toy story hat. He has pretty much worn it since he has gotten it! He favorite way to wear it is backwards.

Hannah's class did a field trip to Cliff's the day after school was out. The kids had a lot of fun riding all the rides! I was hoping to walk around enough to get this baby out, but that didn't happen!

Balto

Bethany's class did their class play last week, Balto. Bethany was Muk the polar bear, and the white wolf. She loves performing and had so much fun! Luk, Muk and Balto.

Her favorite line, "Uncle Boris!!"

slip n slide

Our first slip n slide adventure of the year. I'm sure there will be many others!! I always love taking pictures of them and looking at the silly faces they make! The girls have it figured out where they will run and slide to the end on their tummies.


Rylan runs and fall and then pulls himself to the end. He'll get it probably by the end of summer.

And Dallen just crawls down to the end and splashes in the water.

2 years old

Dallen turned 2 a couple weeks ago, on mother's day! He had a fun day with presents, cake and lots of birthday songs sung to him, which sometimes he liked and sometimes he didn't!
He picked hotdogs and strawberries for dinner, and a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. That seems to be the theme for this years birthdays.
He got breakfast in bed with mommy! After church we did an easter egg hunt for fun.

Likes to pick out his own clothes and is very picky about them.

He got some fun toys to play with. But being the youngest he had to fight to get to play with them.

I think he had a fun day, and it was nice having it be low key. I can't believe Dallen is two already, but in a way I can with his new tantrums he likes to throw! We are so blessed to have you in our family Dallen! We love you!!

p260 week 19

Lately he has had an obsession with head bands. He will sneak into the bathroom and get a head band and put it on by himself. Then he walks around with a little smirk on his face. This yellow one is his favorite.

After a long hard day I was surprised with these flowers from my mom. She is always so good at listening to me, the good or the bad. Thanks mom!!

We decided we needed to get out and do something fun as a family. So off to the zoo we went. We had a good time.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary! Crazy that it has been 10 years already. We really did our celebrating at Disneyland in March, so on that day we settled for a yummy dinner and some lemon cake. The kids were so cute and made happy anniversary cards for us!

What we came home to the other night. There was a domestic dispute right in front of our house, so it was all blocked off and we couldn't get home. After about 20 minutes of waiting, they decided that we could go ahead. One of the people in the dispute came out with a BBQ fork, and the police thought it was a more dangerous weapon and so the police had their guns drawn and almost shot the guy. Which is why they were all still there, they had to take pictures of the scene. Why can't people just be nice and normal!!

p260 week 18

Probably our last family picture of a family of 6. Kind of wierd! This was on mother's day, which was a great day. I got to share it with Dallen's birthday this year! I am so lucky to get to be these kids mom! They are the best! Too bad they are stuck with me! :)

This little one turned 2! I can't believe it's been 2 years already. I feel like I was just pregnant with him and waiting for him to join our family!
Dallen got to go to the dr. for his 2 year appointment. They boys are hiding from the dr. They all love doing this and the dr. plays along!




The girls have been making bed time hard lately and like to stay up and play and talk when they are suppose to be sleeping. Which results in two grumpy girls especially when they have to get up early for school. So we have been splitting them up and one of them sleeps in our closet. They rotate and they all fight including Rylan who gets to sleep in our closet. They have a different definition of luxury than I do I guess.


Due to lack of sleep Bethany has been being quite the pill lately. This is a note she wrote to Rylan after being mean to him. I thought it was cute how she crossed off Rylan and wrote Ry Ry. She loves writing notes to people.

p260 week 17

The girls end of the year school plays. Bethany's class is doing Balto, and she is Muk the polar bear, and a white wolf. Hannah's class is doing the 3 little elephants and she is one of the elephants. They have both done so well memorizing their parts and have had so much fun with it!

These two got to go to the dr. for their 4 and 6 year old check ups. My kids LOVE going to the dr. It helps that they have the coolest dr. ever and he likes to make them laugh.
Dallen decided the best way to play with the train table was in the train table.

The girls especially Bethany has taken to basketball lately. She loves to go outside and play basketball. I may have to try to get her on a team so she can learn more.

Dallen finally got brave enough to go down slides all by himself. He was pretty proud!

p260 week 16

We didn't get a family picture in April. I even reminded Ky so he would remind me! So here is our attempt at getting a picture of the kids on Easter morning. They were not cooperating at all! But at least they are all in the picture, right!

The kids had fun making bunny cookies for Easter.

Dallen being a good boy sleeping in his bed. For a couple days I kept finding him asleep by his door, for his naps and at bedtime. So we put his railing back up propped up against his bed with some boxes. We haven't had to do that for about a week, so hopefully he has learned and will continue to go back to his bed to sleep.

This is the kids favorite song right now. They are so funny and all 4 of them will sing it. Dallen and Rylan have started to request it at bedtime. Whatever makes them happy.

The boys got haircuts. I really do not enjoy cutting hair, but their hair grows so fast. I always cut Dallen's too short, but I figure it will be longer until I have to cut it again.

Ky and I got to go to the temple the other night. It is always so nice to walk through those doors and to feel the peace that is there. The times I have been able to go during this pregnancy this little girl moves around so much while I am there. I'm sure it makes her excited to feel like she is "home". I always wish I could take my pj's and just stay there! Someday right!

p260 week 15

Rylan loves to match his clothes with Dallen. They have matching clothes because when I find something super cheap I buy it both sizes. So Rylan enjoys picking out his clothes and then he will go pick out Dallen's clothes so they can match. I think it's cute and wonder how long it will last!

We found Iver's clam chowder at Costco. Of course we had to get some bread bowls to go with it! It was almost as good as eating it at the Seattle Waterfront, almost.

Hannah is a little reader. She loves reading just like her sister!

Dallen in his big boy bed. We figured it was time to get him used to a bed so we can get him out of the crib sometime soon. So far he's been doing really good with it!

Bethany has learned how to type this year. She has the correct fingering, she just needs to work on speed.

Bethany and Hannah decided to write their own play. Then Bethany typed it up for them. It will be fun to see if they actually do anything with it.
