halloween

 I finally found my halloween pictures.  I was a little distraught when I thought I didn't take any pictures.  They were on my old camera hiding away!  

We had Merida, Jasmine, Lugi and Mario, and Doc McStuffins.

family pictures 2014

 I have a love/hate relationship with family pictures.  I love having new pictures and hanging them in my house.  But I really don't enjoy coordinating the outfits, and getting everyone ready to take them.  It stresses me out, but am always happy when they are done. 

We had not had family pictures taken since we moved from Albuquerque.  There I had a friend that would take our pictures once a year, and then I would take some 6 months inbetween.  So I had a good system and it worked. Then we moved.  I had no idea where the good spots to take pictures were, and not sure who to have take out pictures. I don't like spending too much for pictures, and a lot of people charge an arm and a leg for them.  So I was happy when I found a friend in our new ward that sounded perfect.  She did a great job and am so happy to have new pictures hanging in our house.  Also, I love having them taken in the fall.  I love fall, it's my favorite time of year! And now I get to have fall in my home all year long!

 Rylan went to a friends Harry Potter birthday party.  He had so much fun!

Love conferenece weekend. We got to watch Saturday and Sunday's sessions. Usually we have stuff on Saturday so we don't catch it all. I really enjoyed watching both!

 Bryleigh thinks she is too big to sit in the shopping carts.  She likes to push her own. {I just hate when they run into the back of your heels.}

 The girls halloween costumes I made.  It was fun being creative and seeing the results of the hard work.  Even better when they and their friends think your awesome because you can make stuff.

 Getting flu shots. So fun!  I think the only one that cried was Hannah, who always has the hardest time.  Dallen had to bring little smurfy with him. I love that Rylan is helping his little sister.

 I absolutely love where we live! I love being by the mountains and watching the season change on the mountains!

 One of the joys of having some fun huge trees in our backyard is collecting all the leaves once they fall.  The kids love it and love raking up all the leaves and making leave piles.  This was their pile they were working on.  It was windy this day, so they would all lay along the outside of their pile to stop it from making the leaves fly away.  So creative and cute.

Our house all ready for fall.  I love fall, it is my favorite season and time of year.  I love that my mums stayed in bloom during October.  So festive!

soccer round up

 

 The end of fall soccer season. It starts back up in March. 

Rylan enjoyed having his daddy coach his team.  He is becoming quit the soccer player! He got a few goals during the season. 

 Dallen scoring a goal.  He too is quit the soccer player and is not scared to get in there and get the ball.  I'm super proud of him.

 This girl had fun too. Her games are a little more intense playing the full field with 11 players. She prefers playing defender. It's easier for to block the ball from the goal and to be able to follow it around.  Playing forward she gets nervous having to be the one in control of the ball. 

On game days DQ gives soccer players in their jerserys a free small ice cream or dilly bar.  The kids loved the days we got ice cream after all the games.

Until March, and we will be busy with soccer again!
