Bryleigh's 7th birthday!

She loves opening presents, and has the best facial expressions as she does! She's so funny!

Kyle has been going on lots of work trips lately. He got to go to Florida in May. I think it was the week that Bethany had her surgery. He went to the airport after leaving the hospital. I think he had a good trip!

Rylan enjoyed his season of baseball. He is one of the pitchers for his team, and he does a great job! It is fun cheering him on! 

They needed a 3rd base coach for Rylan's team, so Hannah volunteers and helped his team. She actually really liked it! 

Dallen enjoyed his spring season of soccer. He got to play a little goalie and he enjoyed it!

My niece Charlotte asked me to take some senior pictures for her. I was happy to do it, but it always makes me a little nervous taking pictures for other people. I just don't trust myself to get good photos. I am always relieved when at least some of them turn out ok. She is so cute! 

Bryleigh also enjoyed her spring season of soccer. She actually started to be aggressive and go for the ball. She was even able to score some goals!

I have saved some of Bethany and Hannah's clothes for Bryleigh. Sometimes we can find some that Bryleigh likes, but often it is like her facial expression shows. She thinks that they are kind of weird. It's funny how styles change over time! Needless to say, Bryleigh did not want these bootcut jeans!

Spring is such a pretty time where we live!

I'm pretty sure the picture on the right, I was taking a picture of the spray bottle the kids use to do their hair with. Bethany could not find the spray bottle anywhere and got very upset about it. After everyone left for school, I found in her room of all places! She is such a stinker sometimes!

Hannah played Da one of her songs that she learned recently. Then Da wanted a turn playing the violin. Hannah was trying to teach her and I don't think it was working super great!

Mother's day 2018

End of school year goodies from the students in the preschool I worked at during the year. They were so thoughtful, it felt like Christmas! 

More last day of school pictures. I really enjoy when I see my kids at school, I kind of feel like I'm spying a little! It's also nice that they enjoy seeing me at school too!

He enjoyed having mom and dad to himself! We also went to Toy R Us, when that was a thing, and he enjoyed looking at toys and sitting in the cars!

end of school year stuff {2018}

Bethany at her end of the season, softball banquet. She was happy to be better in time to attend and be with her team again. 

She lettered in softball her freshmen year! She did not start varsity but got to play in a few varsity games. She was excited about that! 

The 9th graders at Central Davis Junior High have a 9th-grade dance. They get to pick up their yearbooks and there is music but no one actually dances. You get a little dressed up and hang out and celebrate the end of the year. She had a lot of fun!

The 5th graders at Adam's Elementary did an end of the year, patriotic singing for the parents. Rylan was not thrilled about it, but did great!

I think this was the first and last time we attended mom and muffins. The kids loved it, I think it's kind of a pain. I think I forgot the next year, so we did our own at home.

Hannah did great at her first year in junior high. She was in the orchestra, so we got to see her play in a couple concerts. 

She also maintained a 4.0 gpa all through the year! 

{She continued this all through her junior high years!}

Bethany with her best friends, Haley and Elizabeth! 

She was really nervous to start junior high. She came from a charter school and chose to go to a school other than her home school. So she knew no one going into junior high. She was able to make some good friends and had a good time at junior high. These are some of her good friends. 

{Bethany is now a senior, and these are still some of her best friends! They go to Layton highschool though, so she is sad that she does not get to go to school with them.}

The last day of school for these cuties. The end of 5th grade, 3rd grade, and 1st grade.

Rylan completed a reading challenge that his teacher asked all the kids to do. He had to read 30 books over the school year, with a variety of genres. He came home at the beginning of the school year and told me that there was no way that he could do that! We sat down and figured out what type of reading schedule he would need to stay on in order to complete it. He was able to do it and I'm pretty sure he felt pretty proud of himself when he finished! He was 1 of 2 people that finished in his class. His teacher gave him a dairy queen gift card as his award for finishing. Awesome job!
