Easter outfits

The kids in their cute easter outfits. Rylan really wanted to be able to pick out his own clothes, and did not want to wear his outfit.  But twice a year, I get to choose their clothes.  It's just how it is!!  He did say how comfy they were afterwards though.
Bethany my responsible purple girl, 8 1/2 years old.

Dallen my little character, almost 3 years old.

Bryleigh my little mover, 10 months old.  She was so ready for a nap at this point, it was after church, and she did not like the grass!

Hannah my little firecracker, 7 years old.

Rylan my little ball of energy, 5 years old.

Easter

Decorating easter eggs for the easter bunny to hide.  They had fun putting the stickers on, and it was much less messy than dying real eggs.

Easter morning, finding all their eggs from the easter bunny.  Some were easier than others!

Then they got to find their easter baskets that the easter bunny hid.  It was a fun easter.  Then it was a rush to get ready for 9:00 church.

easter egg hunts

We did three Easter egg hunts this year.  The first one was at a park with our friends.  Very low key, but lots of fun!
Dallen got the hang of the easter egg hunt, but still isn't very fast at getting the eggs.

Rylan is the super duper egg hunter!  He got the most of my kids, he's super fast.

It was fun and they were all happy with their loot!

The second egg hunt was at a park on base.  I would call it more of a egg pick up, since you don't really have to "hunt" for anything.  But it worked!

There were some white eggs that were thrown on the field after all of the other eggs.  I believe that these eggs were the prize eggs, where you got to pick a prize off the prize table.  I tried to talk Rylan into running after the white egg, but as soon as he could go all thoughts of the white egg were gone.  But he did gets lots of other ones, and he was happy!!

Bryleigh watching all the fun.  Next year she will be running around with the others.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do then.

The girls waiting to start their turn.  They had it divided up by ages, which was really smart.  The boys went first, and then the girls.
Apparently I need to give the girls a good pep talk next time.  They ran all the way across the field picking up an egg here and an egg there along the way.  They could of stopped and picked up the ones on our side of the field.  Silly girls!!
They were happy it though, and really that's what counts.

Our third egg hunt were with some other friends at the park.  We did it the day after Easter, but they were just as happy.

Again, I think he had the most out of my kids.  We had to put some of his eggs back.
Until next easter season!!

Bry

I mentioned in her 10 month post that she was crawling on all four's now, and here are the pictures.
 Her cute feet!
Her little tongue.  It is out all the time!!
Especially when she is pushing her walker.  We all get a good laugh from it!!

Rylan's bowling party

For Rylan's birthday party he chose to go bowling.  He loves bowling.  We had it set up for a Thursday night, and the day of I decided to double check the schedule.  It was not open for open bowling.  So we had to cancel.  He was so bummed.  Then our awesome friends that Rylan chose to go with us, deserted us and moved across town that weekend,{a sad day indeed, but hopefully we will join them soon}. So we had to postpone it a whole week, which was super hard for Ry.  But he survived.

Finally the day had come, and we get to the bowling alley at 11:00, the time I thought it would of opened, and it didn't open until 12:00.  We walked over to a nearby park and the kids played for an hour, then we went back to bowl.  It worked out though, we had cupcakes at the park before.  Then we bowled.
Rylan had fun, and I think everyone else did too!

Hannah bowling.  She would switch between using the cart thingy, and actually bowling it.

Dallen was the only kids to get a spare, and he was using the cart thingy.  Notice what color is ball is??

Bethany bowling.  She wanted to learn how to walk up and throw the ball.  She did good.
Happy birthday Rylan!!

H, D and B2

So I posted pictures of Rylan for his birthday and Bethany for her half birthday, but not of the other kids yet of the same little photo shoot.  So here are the other kiddos!
Hannah my sweet, sensitive, and smart girl!!  Look at her top right tooth, it was just hanging there, but she would not let anyone touch it.

Dallen my little boy who keeps growing up!!  The last little bit he has been talking so much more! He is talking in complete sentences, and is able to express himself more than ever.  It is fun to hear him vocalize what is going on in that cute head of his!  He is quite the character!
 See what I mean.....
My sweet B2, since Bethany is B1.  She was so interested in the grass, she would not look at me.  I remember this stage with all the kids.  You get so excited because they can sit there, but they get too interested in the dang grass.  Next time I will have to bring a blanket.  Not that she would stay on it though...
I love my kids, even though they stress me out most of the time!!

p52 week 14

 April 1st to 7th
General conference time!  Twice a year we get to watch the prophet and apostles talk to us via tv or internet.  We get to stay home and have a pajama day!  Love it!!  The kids always ask me to print out packets for them to do during it.  The boys consist mostly of coloring, where the girls get to take notes about the speakers.

When Dallen was done coloring...he got his puzzles.  It kept him nice and quite, and entertained!!

Inquiry time.  The girls got to do their project together, since they are in the same class.  Their question was, Would it take more pencils or crayons to hold down a helium balloon? Fun!!
Our rockband!!  They had fun dressing up and playing songs and dancing.  They are too funny!!

double digits: 10 months

My sweet baby is 10 months old! I get a little teary eyed when I think of her being one in a couple months!  They are little for such a short time!  But on the up side, she is so much fun!  It is so fun to see more of her personality come out, to watch her interact with us, and to experience all the first's she is going through with her!

She weighs around 16 pounds and is 27 inches long. She loves to eat real foods.  She eats baby food every night for dinner, but also likes to munch on baby mum mum's and baby puffs.  She can eat little pieces of banana, bread, and pasta's.  She enjoys having fruit "ice cream" with us for dessert.  She is still nursing and seems to really like that still.  Her sleeping schedule is pretty much the same. Usually about 7 pm to 7 am.  She wakes up sometime in the early morning between 5-6 to eat.  She likes to sleep with her special pink blanket, and sucks her thumb and pointer finger for comfort.  She is still taking two naps a day.

She has become quite the little mover.  She does not sit still very often, she is always on the go.  The moments she will sit with me and cuddle are very cherished!  She is crawling for real now, on her hands and knees.  When she wants to go super fast, she will still fall down and do her army crawl, and it always surprises me how fast she can go!  I think she finally figured out that crawling on her hands and knees is easier and takes less effort, unless she's in a hurry.  Silly girl!!

She is learning so many new "tricks"!  One of them is clapping.  She loves to clap.  One day I went in to get her out of her bed after her nap, and as soon as I walked in the door, she started clapping with a big smile on her face!  I guess she was happy I came to get her! The kids especially think this is fun, and will usually clap along with her.

She loves to be on her feet.  She will pull herself up to anything and has started to walk along furniture. She also will push her walker toy around, until she hits an object, then she gets stuck.  She usually has a big smile on her face with her tongue sticking out while she does this!  It makes her soooo happy!

She loves to make noise!  She puts her lips together and blows to make noise.  She does this all the time!

She loves to talk, and always seems to have something to say.  Her favorite word is dada and will say it when she see's her daddy.  She also says mama, but  not as often.  She will also say baba, and has other babbling sounds.  She will squeal when she is happy or wants attention.  She also loves to laugh!

She is just perfect!  We all love her so much and are so glad she is part of our family!
