We left Monterey on Friday to head home. Our plan was to stop in AZ and visit the Grand Canyon the next day on our way. But we had also been talking about how fun it would be to go back to Disneyland on the way home instead. When we got to Bakersfield we had to make our decision. So we found a McDonald's with wifi and changed our hotel reservations and headed south to LA. 
The next day we were back at Disneyland!!

This guy was such a trooper! He was as happy as could be, and maybe enjoyed some of the rides more than his brother! :)
Us girls first went on the Matterhorn before it got too busy. The girls loved this one! After the 5th time the snow monsters didn't even scare Hannah. :)
Going into the whales mouth on storybook adventures! This was one of Rylan's favorite's. While we were on this ride we saw Kate (from Jon and Kate plus 8) with her kids riding on the train the circles this little river. Later we walked right past them and their nannies, bodyguards and disneyland escorts. Hannah waved at all of them, and Bethany just smiled. They thought it was the coolest thing ever! They still love to watch the reruns of that show.
Rylan enjoyed driving the car in Mr. Toads.
We visited Mickey's house again.
After riding pirates (which Rylan tried to run out of the line) we decided to take the kids in the haunted mansion. The girls got spooked a little, and Rylan kept saying he wanted to get out. But they all survived!
We waited in line to see Tinkerbell for the girls. I think Ry enjoyed it a little too.
Bethany was disappointed that we didn't see Daisy Duck at all. So we watched parade so we could see her. It made Bethany happy. The parade was a lot of fun. The girls got to go dance out in the street, they loved it!!

I'm sure it won't be too long before we visit again especially since Ky is the one saying, "I want to go back to Disneyland!" Along with the rest of us of course!
Wednesday we explored Carmel by the see. The town was the cutest ever, and their beach was the prettiest. It was declared our favorite beach and we visited it every day until we headed home! 
The kids loved playing with their sand toys, and digging a big hole for them to crawl into. 
On Thursday Ky had a 2 hour lunch break, so we got to meet up with him, YAY! We decided to see what the fisherman's wharf was all about. We ate yummy seafood there and walked around. We got to see a bunch of sea lions in the water there playing. It was fun to see them in their natural habitat. 
Ky then decided that he really did not want to go back to class, so he played hooky the rest of the day and went exploring with us some more. We went on the 17 mile loop. It's a scenic drive that takes you to different beaches and by a lot of mansion, they were pretty amazing along with the beaches! 
Bethany's says that all of the rides are her favorite, but she really enjoyed the roller coasters. She loved putting her little arms up! Hannah's favorite were thunder mountain and the Matterhorn. Rylan like the trains and the boats. He was so scared of the rides that were dark..and he did NOT.LIKE.PIRATES. And the poor kid had to go on it about 5 times, because everyone else liked it. But he got over it! Hannah's favorite part of pirates were the "bumps", and the rest was kind of boring.
Goofy and Micky Mouse are Rylan's favorite, so we got pictures with them. The rest of the characters we just waved at while we went by. 
Rylan is not a fan of the beach. The waves scare him when they come in. So he whines that he wants to go back to the car. 
The girls love chasing the waves and running from them. One of my favorite things to do when I was little. 
I have had so many people tell me that Dallen is just so cute, or that he looks just like the Gerber baby, or that he should be on a magazine cover. It seems funny to me. I think he is the cutest baby ever, but he is my child. And I think most parents feel that way about their children. But it is always nice to hear it from other people too. And if they want to think that he is the cutest baby ever too....well then they can!
