38 Weeks

It is so crazy how long and short 2 weeks can seem at the same time! It is pretty exciting when you get to this point and you only have 2 weeks out of the 40 left. But when it's hard to do much of anything, 2 weeks can seem like forever!!! It will be such a relief, for everyone, when this baby comes and joins our family!!

I was asking Hannah this morning if she was ready for the baby to come. She got excited ya, then you can drop me off at my friends house! I told her that we don't want him to come today because daddy isn't home. (Yes he is out of town again, but this should be the last time for awhile!) So then she asked when is the baby coming, and I told her I didn't know, that she has to ask the baby. She then looked at my tummy thinking about how to ask the baby. Then she looked at me and said, but the baby can't talk to me. I said, I know we don't know when the baby is going to come. She got a confused look on her face and asked me, then how do you know when to go to the hospital if you don't know when the baby is coming? I told her that my tummy will hurt a lot and I'll know it's time. Then she asked, so does your tummy hurt a lot right now? I told her no, it's not quite time yet! She is a smart little girl, who's trying to figure this whole thing out.

Bethany is excited to help me with the baby, and she is old enough that she will be a huge help!!

Rylan seems excited when we talk about the baby, and he knows it's in my tummy. I don't think he quite understands that the baby is going to come out of my tummy though. He is going to be a great big brother!

With my last 2 babies they came a couple days early, and it was the day before my mom came to town. She comes in on the 10th, so I am predicting that this baby will come on May 9th. So we will see. As long as I don't go over, I don't really care!! But I am sure anxious to hold my sweet little boy!!

Spring Pictures

On Friday we went to the duck pond and to the garden's to get some pictures of the kids. I knew it wouldn't happen for awhile if it didn't get it done before the baby came. We had fun being together as a family and being out in the nice weather!!

Soccer

Hannah went to her first soccer practice last week. We wanted to put her on the soccer team, but a lot of the games were on Saturdays at the same time we have ballet. So the nice coach said we could let her come practice with them. She was so excited! There is another little girl on the team that Hannah is good friends with, so that will be fun for them to be able to see each other some more. She is bummed she doesn't get to go to the games, and told me she doesn't want to do ballet anymore so she could go to the games. But she will have to wait until the fall, then we will get her on the team so she can play in the games. She also enjoyed sitting on the ground. Most of the kids did at some point, but she did have a lot of fun and is excited to go back this week!

He did it again!

Ky ran another half marathon on the 18th of April. We cheered him on at the finish line. I was a little sad that I didn't get to run it with him this time, but there will be more races. I really can't wait to go for a good run after this baby comes, I really miss it!!
The kids having their own races while Ky recovered.

Easter Fun

We had a great easter this year! The girls got new easter dresses, and Rylan got a new easter shirt. This is the best picture I got with the kids together. It was after church, and Rylan was on his way to bed. We may have to go to a park with their new easter clothes and get some cute pictures! The girls were so excited for the easter bunny to come, and enjoyed the fun stuff that was left in their baskets!
The Friday before Easter we had a easter egg hunt at the park with some friends. It was such a nice day and the kids had so much fun finding easter eggs, and playing with their friends!

These dresses they are wearing are some maternity skirts that never really fit right. So I turned them into little dresses for the girls. I thought they turned out cute, and it's a fun way to recycle my maternity clothes. I have some plans for some of my other clothes, when in a few weeks I won't need them anymore, Yay!!

5 is the number...

So today I am 35 weeks along, which means only 5 weeks to go, and were counting down the next 35 days till baby Dallen Clay comes!! It is pretty crazy that we are at the home stretch already. Although some days 5 more weeks can seem like forever. I am ready to be done being pregnant!! But I am trying really hard to try to enjoy these last few weeks, as I may never experience them again!

And really I can't complain too much, at least I'm not an elephant. They are pregnant for 22 months!!! I would still have another 14 months to go, plus they have 500 pound babies!

We are getting the baby's room set up. Furniture moved over from Rylan's room and the baby clothes out and washed. It is getting exciting, and the kids are getting anxious also which is fun to watch! I'm glad they are excited about having another brother!
