Every last one.
But they were driving me crazy and it was a relief to finally cut them off.
I didn't get sad until later in the day when I saw the baggie that held his curls...and then I might of teared up just a little. They sure look cute all curled up in their bag.
He is as handsome as ever and a lot less maintance!

the horrible not good rotten day...

so I have nothing fun to blog about. So I thought I would share my day. I had a good start, getting up at 6:00 to exercise. It started at 7 when Bethany needed to be getting ready for school, she got her attitude on and she was.not.going.to.school. I told her that daddy was leaving in 20 minutes, and if she chose not to get dressed then she could go to school in her underwear...but she.was.going! She finally got ready and all was good.

A little later, I was getting the other kids ready because I needed to take Dallen to the dr. Rylan threw a 30 min or longer tantrum from his hair do being messed up, to not wanting to go to the bathroom, to wanting to stay home and play in his room. I dragged him to the car and he could scream in there if he wanted to, on the way to the dr.

We get to the dr. office and I noticed that I had left my wallet at home on my desk. I tried to check in and when they asked for my $10 co pay I had told them I didn't have my wallet and asked if they could bill it to me. Something they have done before. Oh no, you can't see the dr. without paying your co pay right here and now. So we did not get to see the dr. because of $10. They would of made much more money off of me if they would of billed me. I was taking Dallen in for a possible ear infection..and I won't be taking him back unless it gets worse.

Moving along. The kids had a tumbling class afterwards but we now had an 1 1/2 to kill, with no wallet and no money. So I chose to take the kids to a park. Which they loved and had fun playing. We went to look at the ducks in the pond. As I am telling them not to step in the mud, of course Rylan falls into the mud getting it all over his hands, pants and shoes. We went back to the car to wash him up and then went over to our class which we were super early for.

The kids had fun in their class. When it was time to go, Hannah was having a hard time getting her jacket on. I offered to help her, and she yelled at me. Then she decided that she did want my help, but it was too late. So she starts screaming as loud as she can! She screams all the way down the hallway until se get close to the door where she falls to the ground screaming. I end up having to drag her out of the building with her on the floor screaming while I am pulling her arms...while holding Dallen. This continued all the way out to the car, getting fun looks from everyone around us. I finally get her in the car where she finishes her tantrum.

During quite time, I went in to try to take a little nap. Then I hear Rylan. I find him sitting on the carpet with his pants down and poop all over him, his pants and carpet. Why did he not do this in the bathroom? He has not pooped in his pants in I don't know how long. But of course today he did and made a huge mess with it all.

I decided that I should probably look for my wallet, that is not sitting on the desk where I thought I left it. Where did I put it during Rylan's tantrum this morning?

So it is now 3:30 and I am wondering what the rest of this day is going to bring. I really just want to curl up in my bed and sleep till tomorrow. That would be just lovely!!
Update:

So I found my wallet...guess where it was this whole time??? Under my seat in the van. Ha, I had it with me the whole time. It was just hiding to make my day more fun! The day did not get worse..thanks goodness. And now I am off to run the rest of this bad day off on my treadmill.

Here's hoping for a better day tomorrow!
and if not..well then my mom will be here the next day to save me!

Christmas dresses and sweaters

I always enjoy getting the girls new Christmas dresses and the boys some type of outfit for Christmas. We went with sweaters this year. I made them all wear them the same day so I could get a picture of them all. They sure are cute! :)

Bosque del Apacha

So we too went to Bosque del Apacha like everyone else we know in town. Thanks to a friend who posted about it on facebook, it gave us the idea. We are always looking for new places to discover around here, and lucky for us there are quite a few!

We were not as lucky as the rest of them. We didn't see any bald eagles, coyotes, deer, elk. All we think we saw were cranes, geese, ducks and other birds. It was still fun to get out of town and see something new. We will definitely be going back to try to see more animals when it gets warmer!
We did go on a little hike through the sand. I was thinking, wow I guess we really are in the dessert complete with sand.

toes

I forgot to mention in my last post that D also really loves to suck on his toes. But you guessed it, only the left ones.
