Bethany's 6 and first day of school!!

Bethany got to start school on her birthday this year. She was really excited to get to take cupcakes on the first day! She has the same teacher as last year and most of the same kids in her class. It was fun for her to see everyone again. I liked that she felt comfortable on the first day! She was also very excited that she is in a building this year and not portables. She gets to go to a brand new school! She had a great first day... and she's been ready to go back since oh about July! She is upset that we are going to Utah in a couple weeks and that she will miss school. Let hope that lasts!!

6 things that Bethany loves!!

1.) Ballet, and she is awesome at it!

2.) Purple and Yellow

3.) Riding her bike with no training wheels!

4.) Pizza and Macaroni and Cheese

5.) Snapping her fingers..which she just mastered on her birthday.

6.) Jump roping!

The other kids wanted their picture taken too. Don't you love the undone hair!!

After Ky got off work we took the kids to It'z. We like it better than a chuck e cheeses. All the kid rides, like the carasel were free, you just pushed a button.

Rylan LOVED this motorcycle. You should of heard the noises he was making and he was turning the wheel like crazy!! Another free ride, he rode it at least 10 times and we just pushed the button!

They had bounce houses, that were also free.


They had this train roller coaster, bumber cars and a spining ride. You had tickets for these, but they were a lot of fun!



We also played a ton of games and ate a dinner at their buffet. The food wasn't the best...but we got to eat in the toon room that had cartoons playing on big screens. The kids loved it!

Bethany got to open the rest of her presents. Her fairy book that she loves!! She loves to read and loves fairy's, how do you go wrong? We found out at her reading test that she is reading at nearly a 2nd grade level...we are so proud of her!

Her jump rope, that also loves!! She has been asking for one since I threw her others away. That's usually when they want it!

And my little baby. It is amazing that she was once this little. And it makes me a little sad that I only remember a tiny bit of it all. Man they grow WAY to fast!!!

Surprised visit!

My mom decided last minute to come down for Bethany's birthday party. We didn't tell the kids they were coming...so they didn't know until they saw her. It was a lot of fun to watch their reactions! I went to pick them up from the airport and then went and met Ky and the kids at the restaurant. Hannah ended up going with me to pick them up from the airport. I had told her that we were on our way to the restaurant to meet daddy. When we got to the road going into the airport she says, "that's funny that the airport road is on the way to the restaurant huh mommy?" Yes Hannah that's funny. Then we were a few minutes early so we went and parked in the waiting area. Ky had called me to see if they landed yet, and I told him yes they have landed. When I got off the phone she wanted to know who landed? Daddy did Hannah. Then my mom called me to let me know they were outside. When I got off the phone with her Hannah asked, "who were you talking to mommy?" No one. "Well that sounded like Da." I told her it was a secret and that I would tell her who I was talking to in a few minutes. Then we drove around to pick them up and she was talking to me. Then Hannah stops talking and was just staring out her window. I asked her who she saw. And with a big smile on her face but not quite believing it.. "Da!" It was so cute!!

Bethany and Rylan saw them when they were walking to the table at the restaurant. They both got a big smile on their faces and ran and gave her hugs. They were super excited!!


We made a trip to the peter glyphs. It was fun to walk around but it was a little hot.

Artist Pary

For Bethany's 6th birthday she wanted a art party. I was excited for a new theme and not another repeat! She had fun helping me plan her party and get things ready. She wanted to give her guest a pencil box instead of a party bag. So she had fun making name tags for the boxes and filling them with all their goodies. At the party they had fun finger painting, playing with clay, painting with water color, drawing squiggle art, and coloring. It was a lot of fun and super easy for me!!Bethany enjoyed making her giant rainbow cake with me. It consist of 6 different color layers of cake. It was fun to make and eat!!

The cake barely fit on the plates, and I don't think any of the kids finished their piece!

Explora

Explorer the children's musuem here had a free day on the 14th. Ky had the day off so we all were able to go. We have only been there a couple times so it is fun to go and rediscover the place. We also saw some of our friends there, so that was a added bonus.Rylan could of stayed at the train table all day. He loved it!!! They had a snake out that you could pet. I was surprised that all of the kids touched it.

Happy 3 months

Dallen is 3 months old!

It always amazes me how much they change in the first couple months of life.

He weighs in around 11 pounds and is about 23 inches long.

His hair has continued to grow and now reaches down past the bottom of his ears. He may need a haircut soon!

He can now hold his head up,

Roll over both ways,

but is better going from back to tummy and gets mad when he gets stuck on his tummy,
and sleep through the night, which makes us all happy!

He loves to Smile,

and Laugh,

and Talk and Talk,

Chew on his hands and see if he can fit his whole fist in his mouth!

He also enjoys watching his brother and sisters, and they enjoy making him smile and laugh.

He loves to be cuddled up in a blanket and shooshed when going to sleep.

He also enjoys being sung too.

We are all so glad this little boy has come to our family and can't imagine life with out him in it!

I'm happy to report that Rylan loved wearing his train outfit and superman cap. A step up from dresses and tutu's!!
They all played so well together all morning...until lunch time. That is when the fighting started. Thank goodness for naps and quite time!!

Bunnies

We got some bunnies yesterday! Some of our friends were trying to find them a new home, and we took them up on it! I used to have a ton of bunnies growing up, so I am pretty excited about it. So are the kids, and Ky not so much...but oh well!

We haven't given them names yet, but are working on it!
