day camp {bear}

I got to go to day camp with Rylan again this year. Last year I went as a counselor in the primary, to help out. This year I got to go as a Webelo leader. Rylan was a bear, so I only got to see him for part of the day. The Webelos stayed up later than the wolfs and the bears, so he got to stay with me for that part. He also got to ride up with me and back home. He enjoyed riding with me, which is nice that he still likes to be around me!

The bears doing their skit. There were only three bears at camp!

One of the things the Webelos did after the other scouts left, were rockets. Rylan was excited to get to join us!

This boy is so fun! He loves being a cub scout and being in the outdoors. I sure love him, and am thankful that I get to serve in cub scouts while he is in the program. I think it makes it so much easier to serve when it involves your own kid!

softball and baseball {june}

Bethany's softball team played in the Layton City league, at Elison Park. They had double hitters on Monday's, so we were there for a long time! They also have a spray park there. So while Bethany played, the other kids got to play in the water. It helped that they had something else to do!
The water was super cold, so even when it was around 100 degrees out, the little ones would be shivering and cold.

Bethany playing 2nd base, her favorite!

Rylan's baseball season continued through June. He really enjoyed it! He tried out 2nd base too, and did pretty good!

Bethany batting, she's gotten pretty good!
Her team, in addition to their Layton league on Mondays, they also played in 3 tournaments in June.
They played in a tournament in Cottonwood in Salt Lake City, a tournament in Roy, and the last one for the month in Brigham City. They were usually Friday and Saturday and some they also played on Thursday too, It felt like softball kind of took over our summer, The other kids got so tired of softball game, and I don't blame them. It's fun to watch Bethany play, and see her improvement!

We got dinner in between her games in Brigham City, and firehouse pizza. One of our favorite places!
The hard thing about the tournaments were you really couldn't plan our days. The two pool games were scheduled, but once you get into bracket play, it all depends on if you win or lose. So you don't know how many games they will play, or what time we would be done. Fun!

Playing second again. She usually played right field for nitro. The coaches daughter played second base also, so she got to play there the most. Bethany loved when she got to play second, and is really good at it! She knows where to go on each play, and does a good job knocking down the ball. She is also really good at right field. She is great at backing up and knocking the balls down out there too. She would even get the center fielders balls sometimes!

The kids warming up after playing at the water park!
Bethany running bases!
It was a busy month, but I am so glad that the kids are getting these experiences and learning how to play these different sports! It's fun to see them develop their talents!

last day of school 2016 {fighting and laughs}

Last day of school, YAY! Everyone was so ready to be done with school, including me! I look forward to summer and the more so lazy days. No homework, and getting to spend some more time with the kids.
The only hard part was almost everyday they ended up asking me, "what are we going to do today that is fun?" That got a little old. It's ok to stay home and relax some days, or clean the house! They adjusted well, and we found a good balance for the summer!
I'm so glad that the fighting started on day 1! I thought these pictures were so funny, capturing the process of fighting with these two!
Bethany getting Rylan!
Rylan's hurt.
Hannah making some fun faces!
Bethany all ready for her picture now, Rylan still hurt.
Dallen being silly!
Laughs all around. {for a minute}
Time for Rylan's revenge! Getting Bethany back. Bryleigh seeing what's going on!
Bethany hurt, Hannah glad she's on the other side!
Dallen!
By the end they were all in laughs! Thank goodness! I'm glad they got it worked out quickly.

Bethany last day of 7th grade. {12 years old}

Dallen's last day of 1st grade! {7 years old}
Rylan's last day of 3rd grade! {9 years old}

Bryleigh's last day of preschool. {5 years old}
Hannah left for track, so I didn't get a good picture of her.
Last day of 5th grade, and last year at LLA! {11 years old}

Bryleigh's 5!

Bryleigh had a fun 5th birthday! Hannah got out of school a week before the other kids. So Bryleigh had a buddy to hang out with. Bryleigh wanted to have her friend Mayer over and go to the castle park. Hannah also had a friend, Lexi over.
Best friends!
After dinner, she opened presents. She was so excited!
She also wanted some treats like Dallen got for his birthday!

So excited for her shopkins!

Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting! Yum!

This girl was so excited to finally be 5! She is so excited to start kindergarten! Bryleigh is a great caboose to our family! She doesn't love being the youngest, but everyone else loves her! She is {mostly} a great little sister! She does like to tease and bother her older siblings when she is needing more attention. She loves playing with any brother of sister that will play with her. She also loves having them read books to her!
She loves macaroni and cheese and hotdogs. She loves treats, and I don't think she has decided on a favorite yet.
She is very social and loves to make friends. She makes friends wherever she goes. She loves playing with her friend Mayer. They get a long so well!
Her favorite colors are purple, pink and blue. She is the cutest little girl and we all love her so much!!
