point no point

We went and visited with great grandma and grandpa again. They love having us all visit! I get a little worried about the noise and possibility of breaking something. But they don't seem to mind. 

My grandma loves things that sing and make noise.  She showed us a birthday card she had the sang, and then this little tweety bird that sings.

I wanted to get a picture of their house, for memory sake.

Down the rode from my grandma's house is some waterfront.  So we went down there and explored.  I remember when my family lived in my grandma and grandpa's house while they were in their mission, that when I would get upset with my parents or needed somewhere to think and be alone, I would go down to the water.  They used to have benches on this little lookout area that I would sit and enjoy the peace and quite.

After Bremerton, we headed out to point no point and stopped by my old Kingston house on the way. My dad also built this house and it was beautiful.  It isn't kept up very well and doesn't look as nice as it did.

We made it to point no point, but it was too cold to go swimming this time.  This is one of our favorite beaches because it is a sandy beach verses a rocky beach.

The kids have so much fun playing, exploring and looking for seashells.  They would be happy to stay there all day!

We went to Azteca for dinner. Our favorite mexican restaurant. 

We celebrated Bethany's birthday!

seattle

I love Seattle!  Definetly the best city ever and we love when we get to visit.  We rode the Bainbridge Island ferry over to Seattle.

We were going to just walk over on the ferry, but it was a wet rainy day so we decided to drive to try to stay a little dry. 

Love it! Sometimes I wish I could live there!

We got so spoiled and my dad took us to a Mariner's game.  It was so fun! It was my first time being at the new stadium. 

Uncle Lee went with us too.

We went on Wednesday and they were doing a deal that you got a hotdog and drink with your ticket. So the kids got a baseball dog and their own drink. They also got spoiled by grandpa with peanuts, red vines and cracker jacks! They had a great first baseball game experience!

We had to get some pictures after the game too!  

After we headed down to the waterfront to go to our favorite place Ivars for dinner! 

And we feed the seagulls afterwards.

We explored some of the shops on the waterfront. Lee found Bryleigh some emergency underpants! She didn't really need it, but I got a kick out of it.

Then we found the carousel for the kids. Traditions!

There's a t-shirt shop I discovered last summer that has some good deals on shirts and sweatshirts.  Hannah was wanting a hat for softball practice so they all got a Seattle hat.  They have worn them more than I thought they would.

We drove home and had to stop at DQ and for a potty stop. The DQ we stopped at wasn't far from my hospital in Tacoma so we took some back roads in and showed the kids where I was born. We always called it the funny looking hospital. 

It was such a fun day!
